Description
Students will explore the fundamentals of combine harvester
operation, maintenance and repair. Basic machine wear
component inspection, diagnosis and repair procedures will
be topics of study in this fast paced course. Students will learn
the basics of machine adjustments and header equipment
compatibility, as well as field operation. Different types of
threshing and separating systems will be explored, how they
differ in wear, and operating characteristics. AGCO Gleaner and
Axial flow machines will be the focus equipment used in this
training.
